In a bit of a deviation from my usual posts I thought I’d share a delicious meal instead.
Like many people I’m sure, we sometimes get stuck in a rut with the meals that we eat – same things week in, week out. I don’t think we generally eat badly, but it’s always good to shake it up and try some different meals for a change. I tend to eat with the weather too (anyone else do this?) so I don’t fancy the same meals in hot weather as I do in cold.
I like the teriyaki chicken meal from Itsu (occasionally bought when in London) so thought I’d try and do something at home. A bit of trial and error trying different recipes and finally adapting one to our taste and we all love it (the teenager has requested it for his birthday meal later this week). I remembered to take a picture last time we had it so that I could share. The sauce is really good drizzled over the salad too.
Soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame seeds, brown sugar, cornflour, water = delicious.

Have you found any new recipes lately? I’m quite a picky eater so am always really happy to find new things that I like.
