Day 3. No map reading required! Fewston and Swinsty Reservoirs.
We’d left the campsite the day before and had driven to the reservoirs so find out if there was any suitable parking (no height restriction) and as there was decided that it would be a good place for a run so we were up early and running before 9am.
Why this run? There is a path all the way around each reservoir. We didn’t need to map read. We wouldn’t get lost. We knew it would all be runnable. In other words – we didn’t want to use our brains too much! And it was a good run because of all that, and finished with an ice cream from the van in the car park.
This was our first proper trip away in the van and we loved it, didn’t want to go home! Now I will start planning for the next one…
